SMCA Lab Histology Responsibilities 1. Receives processes and accessions human tissue specimens including total organs limbs fetuses products of conception etc. 2. Uses and maintains equipment quality control inventory and filing systems for the appropriate maintenance of human specimens according to established policies and procedures. 3. Inputs patient demographics in the computer and is knowledgeable in the computer functions specific to the Histology department. 4. Follows established procedures for the environment of care. 5.
